Foxtail is a full-service, event production house dedicated to creating uniquely planned events with contemporary food and beverage intertwined. From the initial concept to final execution, we are your one-stop-shop to produce your full event experience.

We bring an unparalleled service to your event from start to finish whether you are hosting in your home, your office, or event venue. You can choose to hire us for catering only or for us to fully produce and design your event. Whichever you choose, we always make sure to provide a high caliber of service that will allow you to sit back and enjoy your event!

How We Work

At Foxtail, we strive to make your entire event experience as stress-free and seamless as possible. Every event begins with a tailored proposal written by our chefs and planners to realize your unique vision. You will then work with one dedicated event planner who stays with you from initial inquiry to the final event day. Your planner can help assist and design every aspect of your event.

Our Kitchen

Our approach to food has attracted talent from some of the best restaurant kitchens in SF and around the country. We take full advantage of the incredible bounty of the bay area with its unparalleled local farms, ranches and fisheries. We refuse to believe that catered food must be anything less than what diners expect from the best restaurants: thoughtfully sourced, seasonal, technically advanced, comforting, delicious, and prepared a la minute.

Our Impact


For us, food and community are inextricable. In addition to our collaborations with dozens of local and international nonprofits, Foxtail partners with COPIA to ensure that any food leftover from events is distributed immediately to those in need. Together with Copia we provide over 50,000 meals to local nonprofits every year!! We are also proud to partner with the Green Business Program to improve the environmental sustainability of our business operations and better communicate our green-efforts to our clients. We align and integrate our sustainability goals with our operations daily through our office and kitchen activity and onsite event practices.
